A Noble Imperative
The conviction that Justice Matters is at the heart of Davia & Tim’s work together. Despite their many differences they share a common belief that the pursuit of justice is a noble imperative. They founded JUST Matters to facilitate raw, honest, and courageous conversations about issues of race and difference for businesses, schools, churches, and other religious and civic organizations.
Justice is the quality or condition of a community being safe, balanced, honest, and fair. Each community or organization has many stakeholders that need to be heard in order for justice to be done. Davia and Tim invite workshop participants to thoughtfully engage one another through a dynamic, respectful, and mutually beneficial conversation about issues of race.
Justice is not the domain of a particular demographic nor is it primarily a political solution. The vision of justice transcends politics, and it cheapens justice to make it primarily a partisan political issue. For this reason, Just Matters is a non-partisan organization.
JUST Matters exists to promote racial conciliation through mutually beneficial dialog between people of diverse perspectives.
To bring various stakeholders together for life-giving dialog about issues of race and justice.
JUST Matters provides a unique, innovative, and experiential two-day workshop that focuses on Building Bridges and Embracing Differences. This workshop honors diverse values and common humanity while avoiding toxic exclusionary extremes. Participants are invited to join 6 crucial conversation modules that facilitate healthy relational development and mutual respect between diverse stakeholders.
This training is ideal for schools, first-responders, police, religious, and corporate settings.
